Dr. Daoping Wang is an Associate Professor at the School of Finance, Nankai University. His primary research interests include financial big data analytics, the application of AI and large language models in finance, fintech and digital finance; international finance, financial risk and regulation, sustainable finance; behavioral finance, financial engineering, investment, and asset pricing.
He has led and participated in over 20 major research projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), the National Social Science Fund of China (NSSFC), the Ministry of Education, and other national-level funding bodies. He is the chief editor of 2 textbooks, author of 1 monograph, and translator of 1 book in the Nobel Laureate in Economics series.
As first or corresponding author, he has published over 40 academic papers in top-tier journals such as Economic Research Journal, Management World, The Journal of World Economy, Journal of Financial Research, Journal of Management Sciences in China, and Pacific-Basin Finance Journal.
Dr. Wang serves as an anonymous reviewer for numerous leading domestic and international journals, including:
